We are part of the  Opticharger project, promoted by the Basque Energy Cluster and shared with Veltium.

Our main goal: the construction and assembly of prototypes of new chargers with advanced functionalities that use fiber optic technologies for current measurement.

Design of an optical current and energy measurement system for fast chargers.

Accurate measurements (0.1%) in AC and DC and in both directions. Network to EV and EV to Network.

Reduction of the optical circuit and the sensor mechanics costs to adapt them to the EV sector.

Reduction of the sensor size to facilitate its integration with the load.

Detection of anomalies in the energy supply, current leaks in the conductor and excessive wear of its insulation.

Communication of the measurement and the failures detected in the laboratory environment.
